It’s time for Friday’s Feast 149
Appetizer
Name a funny habit you have.
I bite my bottom lip when I’m really concentrating about something, to the point I have a small scar from doing it too often.
Soup
If you could instantly know how to play a musical instrument, which one would you pick?
It would have to be the harp because I love the way it sounds.
Salad
How long is your hair?
Just a bit longer than my shoulders.
Main Course
When was the last time you forgave someone, and who was it?
Today, and it was myself. I put so much pressure on myself at times to try do too much and to go beyond what I can realistically accomplish at times, so I forgave myself today for not accepting the fact that I’m not perfect and that people will love me just as much if I can’t do it all.
Dessert
What is your favorite kitchen appliance?
That’s hard, I love my food processor but I also love my egg muffin making toaster thingy because I love poached eggs and my own homemade Egg McMuffin type sandwiches and it makes them quickly and perfectly. My oldest daughter bought it for me two Christmases ago and I probably use it more than any of my other appliances since it’s a toaster, a poacher or can boil eggs.

This is a great feast. I love the sound of your Soup — harp is nice…
Have a lovely weekend!
I have never seen such an appliance that makes toast, poaches or boils eggs ! that’s very easy !
Thank you Alice! Gattina if you want to see what it looks like here’s a link. I really have had a lot of fun with it as an appliance and it’s held up well to my children using it as well.
I am very hard on myself sometimes as well. When I’m able to think about it and I forgive myself for my little transgressions, I realize most of the weight we carry sometimes comes from within.
Happy Friday!
Great feast!
Yes, I agree with your main course!!
Happy Friday!
Like Gattina, I’ve never heard of one. I wasn’t even aware this kind of thing existed! Egg and Muffin toaster…makes you glad that we’re human isn’t it? Not some pet cat or dogs that can’t…no wait, they have life easier. We feed them. Uhm.
I wonder if there’s any appliances that could do the laundry, vacuum the house, clean the bathroom and cook dinner at the same time? Now THAT would be great!
Oooh! OOh! Sorry for this rapid double comment but I know now why you are enamored with the egg and muffin toaster! The link you provided had a sort of game where you learn how to use the toaster as well. It is so easy! I think I should consider getting one too!
(BTW, I dropped one of the breads and it said “hurry! the 3 seconds rule still applies! Amazing!)
That’s okay Gloria, I love playing with the game part of it too, they do have a cool website for it. The kids would break the eggs on purpose.
Oh I think the harp is just beautiful. I just imagine angels all around when I hear that music.
Take care,
Connie
My feast is up.
What a lovely invention that is – and less counter space!!
OOh, I love your dessert appliance–never seen one but now you described it I WANT ONE!!
I really enjoyed your main course…I think we are all guilty of being hard on ourselves. Happy FF.
Forgiving one’s self is sometimes the hardest thing to do. Good job.
Have a wonderful weekend
My husband and MIL have a worry spot on one of their knuckles they bite, not hard, but over the years has left it’s mark.
That’s good you are able to forgive yourself, that no one is perfect, it is one hard thing to do.
I love, love, love, Egg McMuffins, I need to put this on my Christmas Wish list. I’ve never heard of one. Thanks for sharing.
HOpe you have a fabulous Friday!
Thanks for the Feast, I enjoyed it.
You know how you can go forever without hearing about something … and then you hear about it all the time? I first heard about your dream egg maker just this past Wednesday, as a male friend of mine was trying to describe a wedding present he’d purchased.
