Since Thursday morning I’ve been feeling a bit sore, especially around my knees. I think it must of happened/started when I was helping my daughter move some of her stuff around in the garage on Wednesday. There’s nothing worse then having joint pains and having to go up and down stairs just to use the bathroom. This morning wouldn’t of been so bad but I accidentally bumped my knee on the lower cupboards when reaching for a spoon that had fallen. It’s okay – my husband is home and he would be more then happy to give me a good rub down before bedtime.
With today being a day of catching up I figured that taking care of some of the tasks in the house would be an added positive – because that would leave the weekend open to other events. Well, true to the post title itself I would not recommend cleaning a bathroom that has been “used” by two young ladies (my daughters). I can almost open up my own health and beauty shop with the products on my sink alone. Eye liners here, eye shadow there and the ever popular acne cream that got stuck to the sink because they left it open and is slowly oozing out. The moments I treasure when pursuing a clean home.
As a former bowler, who comes from a family that included many bowlers, my grandmother was one of the first presidents of the Women’s Bowling League here in Toledo, I found this article to be one that was very interesting. Sports scientist Franz Fuss of the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology in Australia fitted aluminum tubes in the thumb and finger holes of a regular bowling ball. Each tube had a strain gauge at the bottom to measure and log the forces the players’ fingers were applying on each shot.
Ten players of differing abilities used the ball to attempt various shots. Fuss found that the strain gauge measurements from the ball enabled him to identify the characteristics of successful shots For instance, better bowlers consistently pinch the ball with much greater force immediately prior to release, to allow a faster delivery.
I just got a call from my oldest daughter who recently moved from the San Jose, California area to the Phoenix, Arizona area because of her job. She’s been exploring the things to do in the area with her boyfriend who moved with her, and today they are off to an adventure at the Biosphere 2. We’ve actually held island theme parties in the winter, though I don’t recommend advising people to show up in their swimwear. However if you can’t head off to the warmer climes, sometimes some music, a tropical menu, some flowers and a few tropical decorations can help beat the winter time blues.

I have two little dogs, who if given the opportunity will bark when people walk by our home. This is why I did not want my couch near my living room windows. Alas? I was not listened to and so the window blinds in the living room windows were a casualty of several attempts of the two little dogs to look outside when we were gone to bark at people. When I came home earlier today from the store, it was clear the blinds were destroyed beyond repair…They may have been easy to install and to clean, but they could not survive a two doggie onslaught…
Science is not always right, that’s a part of science. Predictions are made based on evidence had at the moment which sometimes? Doesn’t turn out to be as severe as predicted and sometimes can be the opposite. If you go to trade shows or other functions where you need to have a creative display it’s important to have one that not only meets your needs but having pop displays draws more attention to your display as opposed to a competitor. In my line of work as a blogger, I actually have a display that I use when I am asked to give presentations on blogging. I have a creatively designed display that shows people the types of different internet personalities, that can also be used for presentations on how a woman can survive in the more male dominated world of political blogging.

The economy is bad in some parts of the country and the unemployment rate is high, but there are still employment opportunities in many parts of the country in some fields. Some I don’t agree with, like “Happy Farm” and I was never a fan of Silent Hill but my husband was really into it. The surprise one? “Bejeweled” which I have played and is fun but top in the decade? “Halo” “World of Warcraft” and “Guitar Hero” were expected, “Grand Theft Auto” was also expected, despite the controversy over the game. The number one game? One I’ve spent hours playing. “The Sims” — That did change the concept of gaming for many and inspired many of the games that have come since.
